Welcome to my portfolio

Welcome! My name is Ellen de Weerd. Since April 2023 I've started as Manager for the team Content Management and Implementation within Mortgages at ABN AMRO. Therefore I had to stop my councilwork. You can read more about my council experience here.

Earlier I've worked at ABN AMRO as a Process & Project Enabler. In this role I made the processes for our Operations colleagues easier. I used to work as an IT Development Engineer for several different topics.

Since April 2018 I was part of the Employee Participation council for Innovation & Technology within ABN AMRO. Since October 2019 I was the chairwomen for this group of 11 enthousiastic employees. We discuss all kinds of topics with employees, medior and senior management within our organisation's. I had to stop my councilwork in April 2023 due to a change of jobs.

December 2020 I joined www.topvrouwen.nl as a member in their database.

In January 2016 I finished my Thesis Project of the Business Information Systems masters program at the TU/e (Eindhoven University of Technology). In January 2010 I earned my bachelor degree in CMD (Communication and Multimedia Design) at the HAN (Hogeschool van Arnhem en Nijmegen) . As a part of my study at the HAN I decided to take some courses as a visiting student at the King’s University College at Edmonton – Alberta, Canada. After earning my CMD bachelor degree, I decided to continue studying.
